Details:
Discreet and easy to use. Turn ignition to ON, turn breathalyser handset ON, once it has warmed up it displays "blow" and will beep to let you know it's ready to go. Now blow into the breathalyser handset. If the result is less than 0.020%BAC the vehicle will start. If it's 0.020%BAC or above you're going nowhere!
The handset is fully detatchable so you can perform a self test at home or in the pub before getting in your car. Your batteries must not be flat for the handset to work detached.
The Protector Interlock fits to most vehicles, simply and easily and can be installed by your local auto electrician.
The fuel cell sensor needs to be recalibrated after every 800 uses. The usage counter on the breathalyser handset can be viewed by holding down the on button for the 3 seconds. After reaching 800 uses please send the breathalyser handset to AlcoLimit for recalibration. We can arrange a rental handset for the time your breathalyser handset is away, if needed.

In-House Calibration
Our in-house technicians specifically calibrate each unit in accordance with Australian Standards regulations for the Australian/New Zealand legal limits.
Regular calibration is required to maintain the specified accuracy of each device. An in-built usage counter and an on-screen recalibration reminder make remembering to have your unit serviced simple.

Please Note: for accurate results users must wait at least 20 minutes after the cessation of drinking before testing. Use prior to this time will result in inaccurate readings and shorten the lifespan of the sensor.
